I am a big fan of the original 2006 film, SILENT HILL.  Although I’ve never played the video game that spawned it, I thought it was an effectively creepy, atmospheric revelation in modern horror.  Director Roger Avery brought to life one of the most underrated horror gems in a long time.  So naturally I was stoked when I heard news of a sequel… years ago.  I know there were personal issues with Avery and the production was stalled, but finally six years later we have the sequel.  Based on the trailer, it looks like it won’t disappoint.  This time we follow Heather Mason, the young girl from the original all grown up, as she searches for her father who was dragged back to the town of Silent Hill.  Take a look.
