Bruce Willis stars in this Eli Roth directed remake of the Charles Bronson 1974 action-thriller. Per IMDB, A mild-mannered father is transformed into a killing machine after his family is torn apart by a violent act. Um.. okay. The trailer is about what you’d expect: loud explosions, Bruce Willis hamming it up and of course it transports the violent New York of the early 70s to the violent Chicago of the millennium. The trailer alone felt like an ad for the NRA with the surplus of gun violence. I’m sure this will find an audience and I’m sure it’s not as… alt-righty as it appears but I honestly don’t give a shit. It’s not like Bruce Willis and Eli Roth have ever made a bad movie. (That’s my joke of the day.) On paper, this shares the exact same storyline as Spider-Man. I guess the original did too. Whatever. I’m only posting this because horror-darling Eli Roth directed this.
Death Wish is scheduled to hit theaters November 23rd. (Even the poster looks boring as shit)
