Netflix get’s “Misty”

I’ve gotta admit- my headlines are Pulitzer Prize worthy today.  Netflix has announced that the entire first season of Spike TV’s THE MIST will be available for streaming on August 25th- one day after the season final airs.  THE MIST, an adaptation of the Stephen King novel of the same name, was first adapted by Frank Darabount for the big screen in 2007.  The film was one of the better Stephen King adaptations and the ending is still the very basic defination of the phrase, “fucked up” all these years later.  I didn’t get a chance to the tv adaptation but I’ve heard good things from from friends.  Now I have something else I have to binge watch.

THE MIST tells the story of an eerie mist that rolls into a small town.  The town’s residents must fight the mysterious mist and its threats, while fighting to maintain their morality and sanity.
