America’s most loveable psychotic trio of killers are back for a brand new murderous adventure. After years in production delays we finally have our first look at the new sequel to Bryan Bertino’s 2008 smash, THE STRANGERS. The new film, subtitled, PREY AT NIGHT, stars MAD MEN’S Christina Hendricks and THE RING’S Martin Henderson. Like the original film, the title cards indicate that this new installment is also based on a true story (whatever). According to IMDB, the plot follows A family’s road trip takes a dangerous turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park to stay with some relatives and find it mysteriously deserted. Under the cover of darkness, three masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test the family’s every limit as they struggle to survive. 47 METERS director Johannes Roberts takes over directing duties from Bertino in this film which, according to the trailer, packs as much of a psychological punch as it’s predecessor.
THE STRANGERS: PREY AT NIGHT is expected in theaters March 9, 2018.
