Well, you begged for it and now it’s finally here.  Another remake of the “LIVING DEAD” series.  This time, the third installment, DAY OF THE DEAD, is getting remade for the second time.  Horror film auteurs Christa Campbell and Lati Grobman, who blessed us with THE TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D (which upon further viewing is more fun with the help of vodka and pineapple juice) are producing this new version.  The plot, mirroring the original quite closely, follows a small group of military personnel and survivalists who dwell in an underground bunker as they seek to find a cure in a world overrun by zombies according to IMDB.  The reimagining will feature classic zombies and not the super-speedy ones that have taken the millennium by storm.  The red band trailer below looks promising.

DAY OF THE DEAD: BLOODLINE is scheduled for release on VOD on January 5, 2018.
