I’ve been a huge fan of the INSIDIOUS franchise since the very beginning.  Although I have yet to see THE LAST KEY (it’s been a chaotic 2018 for me!) the first 3 films all wove together seamlessly and told a cohesive story.  It not only gave me more of Patrick Wilson in form-fitting shirts, but it also introduced a new genre hero in Dr. Elise Rainier (the marvelous Lin Shaye).

 

The most recent installment, directed by Adam Robitel, is slated for release on digital March 20 and bluray/DVD April 3rd.  The film will also be released as a four-film set on these dates.

 

The latest chapter tells the story of Dr. Elise Rainier, the brilliant parapsychologist who faces her most fearsome and personal haunting yet: in her own family home.

The bluray is expected to come with tons of bonus material including:

Since this is another prequel, I’m going to watch the whole series in this order: 3, 4, 1 and then 2.  I believe that’s the chronological order.  I’m pretty stoked about the movie so I can’t wait to preorder here so I can finally own it.
