Jordan Peele has finally announced his highly anticipated follow up to the juggernaut known as GET OUT.  Peele took to social media to reveal the title of his new film, US, which is already slated for March 15, 2019 release.  While not an official sequel to the Oscar winner, Peele has revealed that the film will be another “social thriller” and will be similar in tone, albeit will be a completely different story.  Peele has kept the story under wraps while pre-production is underway. Oscar winner Lupita N’yango is in talks to lead the cast with Winston Duke and Elizabeth Moss also rumored to join.

GET OUT was one of the best and most profitable movies of 2017 and proved Peele to be as talented behind the camera as he is in front.  Here’s hoping US proves the promise he made with his directorial debut.
