FINALLY! The Predator is back. Alone. Not fighting Aliens.  The trailer for the upcoming THE PREDATOR has, at last, been released.  This new film, which serves as the third sequel to the 1987 original takes the action from the jungles of the Amazon (or some weird prison planet) to the suburbs.  Original PREDATOR star Shane Black serves as the director and co-writer (along with Fred Dekker) of this new entry.  The official synopsis, according to 20th Century Fox follows:

From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.

Okay… cool?  The new film stars Sterling K. Brown, Keegan Michael-Key, Trevante Rhodes, Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn and Thomas Jane.  THE PREDATOR is slated for release on September 14, 2018.
