Finally! The first teaser for the upcoming SUSPIRIA has been released!  This remake of the 1977 Dario Argento classic stars Dakota Johnson, Tilda Swinton, and Chloe Grace Mortez set in the world of dance and witchcraft.  Jessica Harper who starred in the original is also among the cast.  According to IMDB, the official’s plot follows “A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the troupe’s artistic director (Swinton), an ambitious young dancer (Johnson), and a grieving psychotherapist. Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up.”

Since this is just a teaser not a lot is given away but the visuals are amazing.  The Luca Guadagnino-directed film is expected in theaters this November 2nd.  I’m looking forward to this new take on the classic, even if it doesn’t include a soundtrack by Goblin.
