Okay… this is a ‘Story’ I can get behind.  It’s that time of year when the first look at the new season of  AMERICAN HORROR STORY has been released.  It looks like we’re getting the long-rumored summer-camp slasher themed season.  AMERICAN HORROR STORY: 1984 will play as an homage to films from the golden age of slasher films.  As per usual for the series, details are being kept under wraps until the premiere (remember season 6 that even played the show’s subtitle and them coy up until the actual premiere?).  I really, really dig the concept and hope that I can stick with the season past episode 3 which is where I usually check out each season.   While series mainstay Evan Peters is sitting this season out, we do know that Emma Roberts will return and be joined by Olympic winner Gus Kenworthy.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY: 1984 is expected to premiere on FX this fall.
