It’s always a treat when creators buck tradition and divert expectations when following up with a mega-successful feature. A QUIET PLACE writers Bryan Woods and Scott Beck exchange fears of the unknown for a very human killers with a little help from producer, Eli Roth, in the upcoming HAUNT.
“On Halloween, a group of friends encounter an “extreme” haunted house that promises to feed on their darkest fears. The night turns deadly as they come to the horrifying realization that some nightmares are real. “

While the plot sounds like a cross between THE HOUSES OCTOBER BUILT and last year’s HELLFEST, HAUNT has an impressive enough pedigree in front and behind the camera to stand out from the increasingly crowded field of extreme haunted house movies.
Starring Katie Stevens (Polaroid), Damien Maffei (THE STRANGERS: PREY AT NIGHT), Justin Rose (SUPER DARK TIMES), HAUNT will be released in theaters, on demand, and digital on Sept. 13
