In an encouraging sign of studio confidence the Katie Holmes-led sequel, BRAHMS: THE BOY II is being pushed back from its previously announced December 2019 release to February 21, 2020. Not unlike Fox’s NEW MUTANTS, this is project has been delayed multiple times, frustrating and confusing fans. The highly (?) anticipated sequel was originally supposed to be released in July 2019, but thanks to competition from the CHILD’S PLAY remake and ANNABELLE COMES HOME, the producers thought adding a third creepy doll story on the summer schedule would oversaturate the audience.
BRAHMS: THE BOY II , starring Holmes and Owain Sebastian tells the story of a young family, unaware of its dark history, moves into the Heelshire Mansion. The premise will follow the story of their youngest son finding the porcelain doll, and befriending Brahms.
Again, as of now, BRAHMS: THE BOY II is scheduled for theaters February 21, 2019.
