PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 4’s Kathryn Newton is reteaming with writer-director Christopher Landon for new, untitled thriller. According to Deadline, the upcoming movie is about a young girl (Newton) who, after swapping bodies with a deranged serial killer (Vaughn), discovers she has less than 24 hours before the change becomes permanent.

The untitled movie also stars Vince Vaughn, Alan Ruck and Katie Finneran. Christopher Landon has become a major voice in recent horror cinema. In addition to writing and direction several PARANORMAL ACTIVITY sequels (including my personal favorite, THE MARKED ONES) Landon has also brought us the HAPPY DEATH DAY films. Earlier this year he sadly confirmed a third HAPPY film isn’t on the horizon. Perhaps this new dark demented FREAKY FRIDAY-type film will be the next big thing in horror.
