Sarah Paulson takes a break from the Ryan Murphy universe to show an even darker side than anything ASH: ASYLUM gave us. RUN, which is writer-director Aneesh Chaganty’s follow-up to the surprisingly thrilling SEARCHING, follows the disturbing codependent relationship between a mother (Paulson) and her wheelchair-bound daughter Chloe (Kiera Allen) when the latter discovers a dark secret about her mother.

RUN is due just in time for Mother’s Day on May 8th. Patricia Arquette would be so proud.
