Sorry kids. It looks like you’ll have to wait until 2021 to see Patrick Wilson’s tight pants in THE CONJURING: THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT. Since the Coronaman is still out here and people are continuing to ignore W.H.O guidelines because they think their freedom is being infringed on, studios are reluctant to schedule major releases in 2020 due to the continuing pandemic. This is 100% why we haven’t gotten the highly anticipated HALLOWEEN KILLS trailer and why that film may more than likely pushed back as well. According to Deadline, THE CONJURING’s studio, Warner Brothers, will reluctantly release their other golden property, Christopher Nolan’s TENET in August. CONJURING’s push is being described as an effort to protect the $2 billion dollar franchise. However I’m sure if TENET opens to a huge box office then we may get the third CONJURING in 2020 afterall.
Does any of this news surprise you? Would you be okay watching this movie VOD in September instead of risking it in a packed theater? Did you completely forget about this movie because you’ve been focused on CANDYMAN and HALLOWEEN KILLS like me?
