For our Trailer Park series, we’re going to highlight effective genre movie trailers.  While these clips are highlighted, this doesn’t necessarily speak to the quality of the film itself, only the effectiveness of the preview.  Some films have excellent trailers but the film is terrible like The Nightmare on Elm Street remake, while for others, the opposite can be true like the original Friday the 13th.

“Gobble Gobble, Motherfucker” is the tagline and quote from the killer-turkey himself, named  Tur -Key,  in the black comedy THANKSKILLING. I can’t believe those were actual words I typed.  This low-brow, politically incorrect, offense to the art of filmmaking is about a group of “teens” being chased by a foul-mouthed fowl as he’s released from a centuries-long sleep. The plot isn’t any deeper than that. That’s all you need to know.  The movie is crude, rude and over the top ridiculous- so you know I love every second of it.  This is the perfect movie to relax with after arguing with your family over politics and downing your 8th pumpkin-martini.
