Allison Williams is at it again!  The trailer for the upcoming THE PERFECTION has been released and it looks incredible… and she’s scary as hell.  Reteaming with frequent GIRLS director, Richard Shepard, THE PERFECTION follows troubled musical prodigy Charlotte (Williams) as she seeks out Elizabeth (Logan Browning who’s stellar in DEAR WHITE PEOPLE), the new star pupil of her former school, leading to an encounter that sends both musicians down a sinister path with shocking consequences.  Between this movie and GET OUT I’m keeping my black ass far, far away from Allison Williams.

Even though Netflix is keeping details of the film under wraps, the movie’s kinetic trailer gives a strong BLACK SWAN dropping LSD and made into a movie by a young Peter Jackson-vibe. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Williams said “If you were to stop the movie every 20 minutes and be asked what it’s about or what you think is going to happen, you’d be wrong — until the movie’s over.  [This is] a world in which people masquerade as one thing, but continue living another life, so the movie constantly — even in terms of its genre and aesthetic — put on different masks.”

THE PERFECTION begins streaming on Netflix on May 24th.
