Horror master (I think we can call him that at this point) James Wan’s newest movie is almost here and today we have the first trailer and poster. MALIGNANT, which stars Annabelle Wallis and Maddie Hasson will debut in theaters and HBO Max on September 10th. The film follows Madison (Wallis), who is paralyzed by shocking visions of grisly murders, and her torment worsens as she discovers that these waking dreams are in fact terrifying realities.

Wan has previously promised MALIGNANT will be a hard-R film as he takes a small break from the family-friendly AQUAMAN franchise and returns to his horror roots. The film is also not based on any previous franchise or characters as he has previously confirmed. Wan has yet to disappoint in the horror genre and the film looks like it’ll be a fun time.
